RAGE

I am so angry right now that I can't put my anger into words. . .
But if words would release me from the rage that I feel,
Then there is only one word in my head that I'd like to scream.
Unfortunately it's an expletive that I couldn't even write down.
So I just have to muffle my rage as I scream with a pillow on my face,
And let the embers of my evil self die. . .
Yes, I will let the embers die,
Instead, I'll just cry,
And let the sadness take over me.

Everybody Has A Dark Side

I was watching Channel V and I saw Kelly Clarkson's new single, Dark Side. While I listened to the song, it reminded me of the things that I have been through, and how dark my past was. I am just grateful, that somebody loved me, regardless of who I were, and what I am.

I have done unimaginable things that only God knows. There were many things that I have done that I am not proud of. Life didn't issue me a memory eraser, or a time machine to rectify all the wrong things that I have done. I have learned lessons the hard way, and the only thing for me to do is to just step out from my self-constructed darkness to everlasting light that only love can give.

Barbie Business

I have reached my limit in Barbies, and I have come to a saturation point, where I have no other choice but to sell some of them so I could get my money back. Since April 24, until the present, I have sold about 104 dolls. I have made enough money to sustain me while I was jobless for the whole month of May. Selling Barbies is good business and I realized that there are many Barbie addicts out there. I have cured my Barbie addiction already, so I am not worried about spending much money on Barbies anymore. So far, I am enjoying this new business venture and I hope to expand on other toys next time.

It's More Fun In The Philippines! This is the Department of Tourism's new meme that would encourage foreigners to come visit the Philippines. Eversince the meme came out, many people have posted their own More Fun In The Philippines picture. Even I made my own.

Reading is For Life

When I was three years old, my mother taught me how to read. And since then, I have loved reading. I have no idea how many books I have read, but I'm pretty sure that reading has helped me have a better life. That's the reason why I want both of my children to love reading. I hope my six year old boy, would love reading as much as I do. If he does, then I wouldn't have problems with his academics. For now, I have to train him with Dolch sight words everyday. I hope that when he turns grade 1, he will be able to learn how to read without supervision and he would be able to enjoy books on his own.

Eversince my first son was born, I have started to build his own library. I buy books from a bookstore that sells cheap children's books, and I collect them not just for my son, but for myself as well.
I hope that someday, both of my sons would be able to appreciate the magic of reading. My part is to motivate them. And I hope that with the library that I'm building, they would be motivated enough, and in the future, they will lead a better life.

So far, I have no idea how many books I have collected for them. It may be more than a hundred now. But as long as there are resources, I will continue building the library until they grow up.

Breaking Dawn is a Big Disappointment

Just like the book, the movie was just as bad. I never wanted to watch the movie anyway. I already know how terrible it would be. But I have already started watching the saga, and as bad as it is, I have no choice but to get suckered into the you-have-to-watch-the-sequel-because-you-have-no-choice scheme.

After watching it, I realized that nobody should suffer the same fate as me. I wasted my money and my time. My eyes had to endure seeing all that crap. I am writing this blog to give sound advice. I know that piracy is a crime, but I do recommend to just download it in torrent and watch it just for the heck. It's a bigger crime to watch this in the movies. I tell you, watching Breaking Dawn is as bad as being robbed.

More Time or More Money?

Would you rather have more time or more money? In our world today, money makes the world go round. It's almost impossible to live without money. But what if in the future, time would be the currency? Then perhaps, we would think twice on how we spend our time.

In Time is a futuristic movie about the importance of time. It's a very unique film that would make you think about how you spend your every minute.

Sexiest Pussy Cat Ever

"Only a cat with a death wish would steal the magic beans from Jack and Jill."

Obviously, Puss In Boots, has a death wish, but we know that cats don't die easily.

Antonio Banderas is the voice behind Puss In Boots, and personally, I think he is the sexiest cat ever. Puss In Boots is even sexier than Tigress in Kungfu Panda. He's cuddlier than Garfield. And he is much more appealing than the Pink Panther. We first saw Puss In Boots in Shrek, and after four installments of Shrek, he is now back in his own movie.

I was able to watch this online and all I can say is that it's a very good movie. I can't wait for the DVD to come out, so I could watch it in high definition. If you fell in love with Puss In Boots in the Shrek movies, then you will easily fall in love with him again. There were a lot of witty scripts in this movie that will leave you laughing out loud. So if you like funny movies, and if you want to see another side of Antonio Banderas, then this Dreamworks animation will surely be one of your favorite movies this year.

Real Steel

If you like robots and boxing, you are going to love Real Steel. Real Steel is a story of a boy named Max who was able to find a robot in a junkyard. His father, Charlie, is a frustrated boxing champion. Together, they trained the robot (named Atom) and brought it to robot-boxing tournaments. Real Steel gives us lessons about perseverance and belief in oneself. It is a good movie to watch with the whole family. I'm sure even if you're not a boxing nor a robot enthusiast, you are going to appreciate this film.

To Dust We Returneth

All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day are days when we remember our departed loved ones. It is a time to remember what they have done for us and also a time to reflect on our own inevitable end. People go to cemeteries as early as Halloween to visit the graves of ancestors who have died and to pray for their souls.

The tombstones should remind us that soon, we would also be six feet under, because, from dust we came, to dust we will return. I hope that All Saints' Day will remind us that we only have one life to live, and that we should live every moment, in love and in righteousness.
