And Another One Leaves Us . . .

Getting a loyal housekeeper is getting difficult these days. We've already had several housekeepers in the previous years but noone has stayed as long as Eden Porlayagan.
Maybe I will start my story with her. Eden Porlayagan stayed with us from 2000 until 2006. She left us because she had a dream to work abroad. We let her go because we didn't want to be the ones to hold her back.
Lyn was supposed to be Ken's babysitter. She came in January but she left when Eden left. Actually, she escaped. She left without saying goodbye and what's worse, she brought some of my stuff with her.
Christine and Jessane Orbeta came to our house in the same year, but Christine only lasted a few months and she left Jessane behind. Jessane stayed until 2009. She wouldn't have left if she didn't get herself pregnant.
Renato John Cabahug came in 2008 and stayed until 2010. He wouldn't have left if he wasn't so stupid.
Eva Acot came because of Junrey Amas. She came on January 2011 and stayed for only 5 months. Eva Acot said that she didn't want to leave, but because of her health conditions, she said that working in our house doesn't make her perspire. She needs to perspire a lot because she has high blood sugar. She said that the reason why she is leaving is because housework is too easy for her.
Regie Dorado is Val's mom. She lasted for 3 days. She didn't want to leave too. Except that she had severe stomach ulcer so she couldn't work efficiently. She decided to leave us and said that she would go to the doctor first to be treated. She says that when she has fully recovered, she will come back.
Len Gapul stayed for 8 days. Again, she doesn't want to leave too. Unfortunately, she was 3 months pregnant. Her live-in partner came to our house to get her, and because we feel threatened by Sito, we let her go.
Is it just us or they're really not meant for us. Whatever the reason is, I trust that God would give us another helper. Soon.
