Optimus Prime and the Octopus Crime

My husband is such a great fan of Transformers and he has a great influence on my child Ken. So naturally, my son is now inclined to have the same interest as my husband. Both of them like robots which is a good thing because they have something in common and they can bond easily. It is also a bad thing because it is quite an expensive hobby. A few days before my husband's birthday, I bought him a leader class Star Scream. When he opened his gift, he was so happy, I thought I was looking at an eight year old boy. My five year old son screamed in delight and wanted to have the robot for himself. On my husband's birthday, I gave him money so he could buy another robot that would accompany Star Scream. He bought a leader class Optimus Prime. My son really loved it, even more than he liked Star Scream. He pleaded to me and he said that he would also like to have his own "Octopus Crime". He kept on pleading and pleading . . . So because of my son's persistence and annoying please, we actually gave in. It's our 6th year anniversary, so my husband and I decided to make our little boy happy. We did not buy him an Octopus Crime like he wished. We bought him a Mech Tech Bumblebee. Ken was very very happy. Although I know that sooner or later he would accidentally destroy the toy, what's important is that we have given him joy. We love hime very much, and I guess that giving in to some of his requests is not a crime, even if he asks us for an octopus!
