Swine Flu is Now an Ordinary Fever
I have no work today and for the following four days, that's because of the AH1N1 scare in our town. Apparently, the flu cases in our town has risen to an alarming number that's why everyone's requested to self-quarantine. Children are the onces susceptible to the disease, and according to the latest news, 13 people have been diagnosed to have Swine Flu in Los Banos alone.
Everybody thinks it's dreadful, maybe because of the hype of swine flu. It's too overly-sensationalize. Swine flu can kill . . . yes, that's true, but dengue fever is even more dangerous than swine flu.
Well I hope it rains like it's supposed to. Accordingly, rain helps prevent the spread of this dreadful virus. Hopefully, by next week, there wouldn't be anymore suspension of classes, because personally, I believe that it is impractical to miss one week of class because of this so-called pandemic.
I read from a newspaper headline that AH1N1 is now an ordinary fever. I think that's true. The only reason why it gets dangerous is because of complications resulting from it. So to prevent this disease, we have to gear ourselves with vitamin C and lots of fluids. We also have to stay physically active and remember to sanitiza our surroundings and especially our hands. Anyway, in reality, being extra careful is not a guarantee. We just have to trust the Lord that he would protect us and make us well.
